A group of paintings done in response to the disappearance of a unique piece from a commercial gallery. See Chapter 6 of Agustin’s book The Killer Flies of Luxor.
Title: Op 108 Tan-Kha-Ten
Description: A unique piece with three faces, painted on all three sides. Having disappeared from the commercial gallery where displayed and offered for sale, it triggered a re-living of leaving his homeland for Agustin, leaving family, friends, positions and his life behind when he left Cuba. Thus, it inspired a series of pieces that imaged the missing piece.
